About District One Hospital

District One Hospital is an acute care hospital meeting the healthcare needs of the 35,000 people which it serves. Our campus is located in Faribault, Minnesota, approximately one hour south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. District One admits approximately 2,100 patients annually and employs more than 350 employees. Outpatient and emergency services average more than 48,000 visits per year.

District One is certified by the Centers for Medicine and Medicaid Services (CMS) and licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Health (more information can be found at http://www.hhs.gov/. Our Hospice Program is Medicare certified, our laboratory is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the hospital participates in the American Red Cross Blood Bank system.
